It doesn’t take a genius to guess the price of an item on The Price Is Right. Because even if your estimation comes up a couple hundred dollars short, you would think that each player has a good chance of winning, right?
If you happen to be a contestant named Corey, just throw your chances out the window now. On a recent episode of the show, Corey was WAY off when it came to guessing the exact price of a beautifully quilted hammock.
Depending on the designer, I would probably guess that the hammock would cost a maximum of $1,000. But even then, I think that’s a bit of a stretch. Though with Corey’s contestants bidding mostly around $750 dollars, he instead, upped the ante by guessing the hammock cost about $7,000 dollars. (Umm…what?!) Unless the hammock was encrusted with diamonds, nobody in their right mind would make or buy a hammock that expensive.
We’re willing to bet Corey didn’t win this round. But hey, at least he’s become a viral sensation.
